Dances
Every evening during camp, we have an social dance either with a live band or fantastic swing DJs. All dances follow the theme for the camp, so make sure you dress up to join in the fun.

Bedouins, Bandits & Belly dancers
8.30pm - 12am | Ararimu Hall
Dress for the desert. Come as a nomadic Bedouin, a crafty bandit or a seductive belly dancer. There will be prizes for the best dressed and fun ways to get to know your fellow campers.

Saturday 19 June
1001 Arabian Nights
8.30pm - 12am | Ararimu Hall
Ali Baba and his 40 theives, Sinbad the Sailor, Aladin and his magic lamp...the options are endless. Dress in your best Arabian outfit for the evening and dance the night away to the swinging sounds of Auckland's best big band - The Queen City Big Band. There will be performances from the teachers and other swing dance centres from around the country. Even if you're not attending the whole camp, come for this dance. It will be a blast!

The Oasis
8.30pm - 12am | Dining Room
Time to chill out at the Oasis and get in those last few dances with your new found dancing friends. We'll be having our usual fun Battle of the DJs competition for some great sounds to dance to. If you're interested in joining the comp, then email us michelle@jitterbugs.co.nz
